Each year, in the spirit of giving season, our therapists have the opportunity to nominate families they serve who could use a little extra support. Last year marked the seventh year of our Ascend Adopt-A-Family Giving Program, and it was our biggest one yet! We received a record-breaking 53 family nominations—more than ever before! To give more people the opportunity to contribute, we extended the donation deadline into this year, and thanks to everyone’s generosity, Ascend matched 100%—and then some!

As a result, every nominated family received direct financial assistance to support their needs. At Ascend, we’re honored to be part of each child’s journey and remain committed to supporting the families we serve, helping to bring comfort and joy in any way we can.
