Seeing our daughter excited about Third grade and even making friends in school reminds us how Ascend services have been life-changing to our family! Our daughter was 3 when she came in for OT and SLP with Ms. Cecelia and Ms. Chris, and Ms. Sheryl. We came once a week for both services and everything we learned from a year and a half at Ascend has helped us get to where we are today. They are so knowledgeable on individual differences and are such a pleasure to work with, every session was a joy and working through problem areas was just a matter of time. There was no task that was too big, and I have not seen better therapy for our daughter anywhere else. I wanted to give credit where warranted but on the other hand the office staff was a completely different experience. This review is for the therapist that helped my child and not for the customer service I received from the office staff at Ascend. (Ilea saved you from a bad review!) Ileanexcis was my child's Speech therapist. She is fluent in Spanish and knows sign language. Which was a tremendous help because my child knew a few words in English, Spanish and Sign language. My sitter only speaks Spanish and my home is 90% English and I had started teaching my child Sign language early on. I was worried that the therapist he would be paired with would not know all 3. My child loved his visits with Ilea and would always look forward to them. He went in (roughly 2.5 years old) knowing 20 words and aged out (3 years old) knowing his colors, counting to 10 and naming body parts. I am so grateful to have been paired up with such an amazing therapist who loves her job and shows!!! My son built a rapport with her so well that when Ilea went on vacation and someone else filled in. He did not want anything to do with the sub therapist. I am so sad that they no longer have sessions together. My son misses her and will ask about her. She is such a great asset to have. I hope that Ascend realizes how amazing she is!! My son Justin has been going to Little Miracles program beginning of the year. Even though his only going for two days a week and very soon he will be starting to go four days…we have seen so much changes and progress with him. He Will be starting speech services through ascend and I am so excited about that. The staff at little miracles and the director for little miracles are fantastic. My daughter has been receiving services from Ascend for over a year now, her teacher is Ms.Marylou C, she is the BEST! My daughter looks forward to seeing her teacher each week. She is very patient with my daughter and I love how she sings to her when she is about to have a melt down to calm her down. She is very interactive with her, she plays lots of games with her, she dances and sings songs with her. She gives me such great ideas to incorporate into daily things to teach my daughter new things. If you happen to need services from Ascend, I would highly recommend asking for Marylou C to be your child’s teacher. I love how she is very flexible with switching from in person teaching to zoom if anything were to arise at the moment. Very fortunate to have such an amazing teacher assisting with my daughter.

My son has been receiving speech services for over a year now here at Ascend and it has been great! My son started off with another therapist but we switched to Ms. Sheryl-Rose (my son just calls her Ms. Sheryl) 6 months into his sessions. She has been fantastic with my son and let’s me know how well he’s doing and little things where he needs a little help and improvement. She also helps my son focus on social skills as well. My son loves coming to sessions because of her and he’s been talking a lot more from when he first started.
Also, the whole staff is super friendly and accommodating as far as scheduling. They keep you in mind when there is a time that you prefer to have your sessions when it becomes available. Overall, Ascend is a great clinic and I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed!

Been going here for over a year. Awesome, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Therapists always keep you in the loop and appraise you on your child’s progress. Great communication by the receptionists who keep you updated whenever a schedule change is necessary.
Jason has been improving his speech in a much faster pace since we joined Ascend. Highly recommend them for any speech/motor delay.

My child has been coming here for speech therapy for almost 2 months now and I’ve seen so much improvement! My child was uncomfortable at first and didn’t want to participate, but they have patience and really know how to work with the kids to make them comfortable and excited to learn! My son has speech delay that contributes to other behavioral issues. After doing some assessments with the doctors, he was referred to Acsend rehab services for speech therapy. Miss Lauren is our speech therapist. She’s very sweet, very professional, and very patient with my son. She told us about their Little Miracles preschool program and we signed him up right away. The preschool is great! They have 1 teacher to 2 students ratio. They also have occupational therapists and speech therapists spending time with the kids every day. My son has improved so much going to speech therapy and their preschool. The teachers are great there. Now my son attends another preschool full time and he is adapting to the school very well. I really think Little Miracles prepared him well. I’m so glad that we have found Ascend.

I started coming to this center to see Miss Cecelia 4 month ago with my 13 years old son and I am so exited to report the change I see in my teenager. He is more focused on his studies, going to the gym and always eager to come for an appointment with Cecelia.
Cecelia is a great professional who cares about the kids and gives great advice and always patient and friendly.
The whole staff is very welcoming and friendly.

I met with Swati today hoping to get a good grip on getting Speech Therapy for my daughter. She is extraordinary! She truly wanted to get my daughter’s progress and after the conversation, she recommended that my girl needed OT more that Speech Therapy. She explained to me the benefits of focusing on OT first (which totally makes sense). She is just not passionate about her profession but you can sense that she truly cares about her clients. Even if this business is out of network on my insurance, I have made the decision to sign up my child (price is quite steep but we do things to benefit our kids).
